Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) training is compulsory for all estate agents and has to be attended at least twice a year to comply with current governing body and legislative requirements.

The understanding of and compliance with the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) and other Anti-Money-Laundering Legislation is required in all aspects of financial compliance for Estate Agents and Agencies alike. This training seminar is aimed at providing the necessary skills to understand the importance of FICA and related legislation, as well as to apply the acts in your day-to-day dealings with clients in the provision of your services.

This is short but highly interactive seminar in which the trainees are encouraged to speak out, actively participate in discussions, ask questions, pose scenarios and request guidance in the obstacles faced by them on a day-to-day basis. By doing so we help our trainees find solutions to such obstacles in a simple and pro-active manner.

In this Seminar we look at:

The Financial Intelligence Centre Act ("FICA").
The South African Prevention and Combating of Corruption Act (the “Anti-bribery Act”).
The Protected Disclosure Act (the “Whistle blowing Act”).
The Promotion of Access to Information Act ("PAIA").
